Welcome Post

I was undecided about how to name the blog, the post, and everything else.

At some point, we all experience the emotion, the terror, and a chronic doubt before diving into new spaces. Yet, here I am, opening my heart and sharing this with you.

Let me share something with you; for years, I struggled with the weight of unresolved issues and complex emotions that affected my mindset, my relationships, and my ability to live a balanced life and be completely in the GIFT… I mean, the PRESENT 😊.

Through various modalities, I understood that our bodies store emotions in ways we might not imagine: the tension in our shoulders, the knot in our stomach, the feeling of heaviness we carry that only seems to grow… These are reflections of emotional wounds that need our attention.

I sought solace in practices like therapeutic massages, Qigong classes, sensory immersion, journaling, nature walks, music, and meditation in various forms. Different styles of psychotherapy allowed me to reframe my thoughts and process memories that had been with me for years.  I was able to re-connect with my body and release trapped emotions.

These practices transformed my mindset and consequently my lifestyle, and drastically improved, for the better, the family dynamic. I became more aware of how emotions are intrinsically intertwined with our consciousness, influencing everything from our physical health to our relationships, whether with friends, partners, or family.

All these positive changes I experienced, and continue to experience, inspired me to share my journey. I hope it can be helpful to anyone going through similar circumstances to those I lived through for much of my life.

But this will be a space not only to share, learn, and explore but also to build a community; to connect with other wonderful human beings who may inspire you and even help you remember how good it feels to “be your best self” as we walk the path together. Let’s seek the inspiration and tools that may help you embark on or continue your own journey of self-awareness and transformation.

But if you really want to know “who we are,” explore the page and don’t be afraid to join in.

Let’s embark on the journey!

With love,

May
